Announcements: Draft Regs for TANF and an Oversight Hearing
The federal Department for Health and Human Services announces that
a fact sheet and summary of the draft TANF regulations are
available at the following web site:
www.acf.dhhs.gov/news/welfare/. The text of the regulations will
be available on-line later this week.
Also, the Senate Committee on Health and Human Services announces a
public hearing on welfare reform oversight. The hearing will be on
Monday, December 8, 1997, from 1 P.M. until 4:30 P.M. It will be
held at the Natural History Museum, in Exposition Park in Los
Angeles. The address is 900 Exposition Blvd. The hearing will
take place in the Ties Mirror Board Room within the museum. For
